I got in to music during 2006. I had a dream about turntables, at first it was kind of an aimless hobby, but something attracted me to the craft. I did some research and found out how much a pair of tables cost, and I bought them.
Picked up quick. Wanted to get more the scratch academy NYC. Grand master theodore taught me some shit there. Eventually got bored with the idea of deejaying, and I do not want to gas myself but I just was not challenged.
In 2008 I picked up producing. I started on garage band then moved on to pro tools and Ableton. Steadily gained satisfaction from producing. Producing for me is the manifestation of one's own expression beyond words, therefore I believe that no one can tell you your beat is not good. Its like someone telling you your feelings suck. on the other hand Djing is pure technique. if your mix is ass then your an ass Dj its tht simple.
I dont want to be rich and famous. If it happens then fuck it, but thats my dream. I want to be able to live through my music. If I can pay my mortgage, put food on the table, and still have a lil cash on the side, and still do music; I'll be happy. I dont want a shit load of fans because one song either. I would rather have some fans who actually listen to my shit and understand me as musician. I just want to be liked for the right reasons. FUCK A HIT SONG. WE(Varsity) DO HIT ALBUMS
